Oregon town officials add final amendments to sign ordinance

City officials in Carlton, Ore., approved amendments to a pending sign ordinance, which is slated for a final vote next month. This week's changes will allow residents to post two real estate signs on corner lots and increase flexibility for balloons, flags and banners. Officials declined to change a rule that limits sidewalk sandwich board signs to one per doorway.
