CBOT corn advances; NYMEX oil, ethanol futures extend losses

Corn for December delivery settled at $6.9225 per bushel on Monday, up 0.25 cent, on the Chicago Board of Trade. October light sweet crude dropped $2.26 to end at $85.70 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. October denatured ethanol fell 0.4 cent to extend its losing streak to five sessions, closing at $2.639 per gallon, on the CBOT.
