London IPO pulls in $47.9M for NetScientific

An initial public offering in London has brought in $47.9 million for NetScientific. The U.K.-based diagnostics firm will use part of the proceeds to advance two of its portfolio companies: WANDA, which is working on a virtual patient engagement tool for more effective chronic disease monitoring, and Vortex BioSciences, which is designing a blood-based assay to spot circulating tumor cells.
