A diet that emphasizes antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables, along with probiotics and limited sugars, can not only enhance the skin's appearance, it can also help alleviate eczema and boost the protective effects of sunscreen, dermatologists say. "The aging of our skin is such a complex, multifaceted process, and we're learning that nutrition is one piece of this very large puzzle," said board-certified dermatologist and ASDS member Dr. Patricia Farris.
