Report: Worldwide cost of dementia is on the rise

Alzheimer's Disease International predicts that the global cost of caring for people with dementia will reach $604 billion in 2010 and will continue to increase as the number of patients is expected to triple by 2050. The report found that richer countries account for about 46% of dementia cases and 89% of the costs.
