SEC's Berman will explain events that led to the "flash crash"

Gregg E. Berman of the Securities and Exchange Commission is leading an inquiry into the May 6 "flash crash" and is poised to reveal results of his investigation in the next two weeks. Berman said his report will go beyond what regulators have revealed about the market plunge, focusing on the sequence of events leading up to the crash. "The report will clearly demonstrate how market conditions and events prior to the flash crash led to the extreme price moves," he said.
