Remote ICU monitoring lowers mortality, LOS, company says

Hospitals using Advanced ICU Care for remote monitoring of ICU patients for one year reduced mortality rates by 40% and average lengths of stay by 25%, according to the company's data on more than 10,000 patients. Advanced ICU Care gives hospitals information they can use to compare their ICU's actions against medical recommendations, and it uses a scoring system to calculate mortality rates, LOS and respirator days.
