Hallmark adds local advertisers through Alabama cable deal

Crown Media's Hallmark Channel is expanding its list of local ad sales subscribers by 209,000 to 34.4 million through an agreement with two Charter Communications cable systems in Alabama. The move is part of the Hallmark Channel's offer to local cable systems nationwide to participate in a program that helps local advertisers market their products together with Hallmark.
