HIEs assisting doctors in "meaningful use" requirements

Several state health information exchanges have begun offering services to help health care providers comply with "meaningful use" standards for electronic health records. Gina Perez of the Delaware Health Information Network and other health care executives promoted the efforts during a conference sponsored by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality last week.
