Recession forces down rents on priciest shopping streets

The economic downturn has driven down rents on even the most expensive shopping streets around the world, according to separate reports from Cushman & Wakefield and CB Richard Ellis. However, the most expensive shopping streets in London, including New Bond Street, actually saw rents rise. The Asia-Pacific region experienced the largest decrease as rents fell more than 15%.
