Geena Davis: Gender equality remains a big challenge in films, TV

Television and film are still not delivering when it comes to gender equality, Geena Davis told attendees at the Social Good Summit event, as female TV characters remain underrepresented by a 3-to-1 ratio in some movies and only 7% of children's films are gender balanced. Change is dependent on getting more females involved in the production process and content development, says Davis.
