Google boosts ads linking to mobile-friendly sites

Ads that link to mobile-optimized websites will get higher play under Google's latest "ad quality" rankings, which prioritize ads in Google's mobile search results. Explaining the new policy, Google mobile ads chief Surojit Chatterjee cites a recent survey in which a large majority of respondents said they probably wouldn't return to websites that don't perform well on their phones.
