Study suggests equal parts protein, carbs and fat is best diet

A diet containing 65% carbohydrates causes several genes in the body to work extra hard, including genes linked to inflammation, type 2 diabetes and heart problems, a Norwegian study found. Meals composed of one-third carbs, one-third protein and one-third fat could help the body work best, researchers said.
