Exec: New ventures to help Chevron become 4th-biggest LNG supplier

Chevron is poised to become the world's fourth-biggest producer of liquefied natural gas, as the company starts up projects in Australia, Africa and Southeast Asia, said Stephen Del Regno, Chevron's managing director for Asia. Speaking during the World LNG Series conference in Singapore, Del Regno said Chevron may even claim second place behind Royal Dutch Shell among private companies by 2020 as it increases its supplies.
