Judge's marriage ruling spurs Ohio lawmaker to seek impeachment

Ohio state Rep. John Becker, a Republican, has called for impeachment proceedings against a federal judge who compelled the state to recognize the marriage of Jim Obergfell and his terminally ill partner, John Arthur. "Judge Black has demonstrated his incompetence by allowing his personal political bias to supersede jurisprudence," Becker wrote in a letter to U.S. Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, about U.S. District Court Judge Timothy S. Black.
