Sign ads are taking off again at Fla. airport

Frequent business travelers are 83% more likely than other American adults to try new products and services, according to a 2011 survey, making airports a lucrative place to advertise. At Southwest Florida International Airport, ad revenue is on track to hit $749,176 this year, and the airport authority plans to update signage technology in the coming year, replacing scrolling signs with LCD units to provide crisper images and greater flexibility.
