UK independent schools leader calls for etiquette lessons

Eddy Newton, president of the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools, recently advocated for students to be taught to "lose graciously." Lessons on proper etiquette when losing a game, Newton said, will help prepare students for similar situations in the real world. "You're going to go on after school and be interviewed and not offered a job -- you're going to have to learn about how to cope with coming second," he said.
