Indian drugs sales drop to 8-month low

Sales of drugs in India declined from nearly $1.11 billion in July to $1.09 billion in August, according to pharmaceutical market researcher IMS Health India. The new price controls on 348 essential medicines appeared to have an impact, according to this article; in August, their sales fell 9% from a year ago.
