Pa. school has students prep for journey to Mars

As part of a heightened focus on science, technology, engineering and math, Newtown Friends School in Pennsylvania is embarking on a project that will take eighth-graders on a virtual trip to Mars including creating models of spacecrafts using a 3D printer. "Lift off to Mars" is the first part of the project that is being developed with the assistance of the Project for STEM Competitiveness.
