Ala. credits public-private partnership for AP success

Students in Alabama for five years have led the country in the percentage increase in the number of students passing Advanced Placement exams in math, science and English, officials have announced. The gains are being attributed, in part, to a public-private program called the Advanced Placement Training and Incentive Program, which focuses on study sessions, teacher training, support from master teachers and other methods.
