Ariz. town to make entertainment district pop with monument signs

Officials in Peoria, Ariz., are putting the finishing touches on a streetscaping plan that includes the use of brightly colored, illuminated monument signs to raise the visibility of its entertainment district. The city plans to spend $495,600 for the design phase of the project and $3.85 million on construction, which is slated for next year.
