Colo. may have experienced a 100-year flood, report says

The flooding that recently hit Colorado was "probably unmatched in at least 35 years" and likely was a 100-year flood, according to a report from the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences. "In the context of the entire Front Range this was a rare precipitation event, especially for September, and in some respects unprecedented," the report said.
