Mobile marketing group offers guide to location-based advertising

The Mobile Marketing Association released a guide to location-based advertising for its members that includes information on location technology, the types of data gathered, existing strategies for location-based ad campaigns and the different metrics available for quantifying campaign success. The 24-page tool also includes a glossary that seeks to establish common industry meanings for terms such as "hyperlocal" and "precise location."
