Nokia has considered approaching French telecom vendor Alcatel-Lucent about a tie-up, according to published reports that say the Finnish company's strategy remains uncertain in the aftermath of its decision to sell its phone business to Microsoft. Nokia's board of directors has reportedly put "all options" on the table as part of a broad review of its future. The company will retain its networks and software divisions. Also, Nokia is expected to introduce six new wireless devices at an Oct. 22 event, The Verge reports.
