WHO worries about spread of MERS after Mecca pilgrimage

The World Health Organization is urging countries to step up their surveillance of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus as millions of people make a religious pilgrimage to Mecca and return home later this fall. As of last week, more that 130 people were confirmed to have contracted the deadly virus, most in Saudi Arabia, where Mecca is located.
