Younger generations are among biggest pay-TV users, research shows

Cord-cutting among younger generations could be overstated, according to research from PricewaterhouseCoopers, which found that 77% of adults age 18 to 24 have cable subscriptions, the highest rate of any age group. The 25-to-34 group was next highest, at 73%. Those age groups are also much more likely to have subscriptions to streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, the report found.
