NBSB votes for integration of EMR, patient tracking

The National Biodefense Science Board has voted to have an EMR system be interoperable with other medical-resource and patient-tracking systems as part of a disaster-response plan. The board says it finds this type of integration to be a crucial part of preparing for and responding to future public health emergencies.
