Gate technology system recognizes a traveler's eyes, face

A California company recently launched technology capable of recognizing faces and even the iris of a traveler's eyes. AOptix debuted its "e-gate" system at a conference in Florida this week. "This is what we call the future of passenger boarding," said Brian Rhea, AOptix director of corporate communications.
