Judge: Comcast filing in Tennis Channel dispute is "superfluous"

A supplementary filing by Comcast in response to Tennis Channel's program-carriage complaint has been thrown out by a Federal Communications Commission administrative law judge, who called it "superfluous." Comcast, which has been accused by Tennis Channel of giving preferential carriage treatment to its own sports network, Versus, in the extra filing identified Verizon and Cablevision as other operators that did not offer Tennis Channel.
