AdvaMed CEO sees debt debate as avenue for repeal of device tax

The fight against the 2.3% medical device tax has been gaining momentum, and the ongoing talks about the debt ceiling might open doors for advancing a repeal bill in Congress. "We will look at every opportunity to repeal the device tax, such as the continuing resolution over the debt ceiling," AdvaMed President and CEO Stephen Ubl said at the 2013 AdvaMed conference held this week in Washington, D.C.
