Angry Birds flies high over the airwaves now, too

Angry Birds has reached 1 billion views for its ToonsTV animation channel in seven months. The Finnish developers are planning a second season of "Angry Birds Toons" and intend to develop spinoffs revolving around the Bad Piggies and Stella characters. "Investors have not paid significant attention to how far Rovio has come in the past seven months. That is going to change," blogged BTIG media analyst Richard Greenfield, adding the company's distribution of ToonsTV on more than 25 million devices is wider than Comcast's network.
