Coca-Cola to tie social media to rewards in app upgrade

Coca-Cola is taking a number of steps to improve its mobile application experience, including the launch of a platform that adds social media actions to its rewards platform, according to Coca-Cola's Zoe Glade, speaking at the Mobile Marketing Association's SM2 conference. The company is also focusing on providing more relevant and engaging content to keep initial app users coming back, as well as developing a "container app" that groups its different brands.
