Companies meet with Mich. engineering students at job fair

About 3,000 engineering majors at the University of Michigan gathered this week to meet with representatives from companies, including Cisco, Ford Motor and Twitter. The students had brief opportunities to make an impression on the companies looking for interns and full-time hires. "Engineering is highly sought after, which is nice; but it is also very competitive," said Christine Rockwell, a senior industrial and operations engineering major and one of the event's directors.
