Daimler goes nationwide with push for smart-car sharing service

Daimler has begun a national ad campaign for Car2Go, its car-sharing service that exclusively uses the tiny Smart ForTwo autos. The company, operating in 11 markets with two new launches planned next week, has print and TV ads that feature real customers such as Austin, who used Car2Go to get his pregnant wife to the hospital, and Andrew, a 6-foot-5 weight-lifter. Ads tout benefits such as one-way trips and easy reservations.
