Delegates debate how to help older, rural, and solo practice physicians

The AAFP Congress of Delegates debated how to help older family physicians, along with those in rural areas or solo or small practices. Delegates approved a measure calling for a study of EMR adoption and patient-centered medical home transformation by doctors who face barriers to making those changes. Delegates also referred to the Board of Directors three proposals on over-the-counter access to oral contraceptives.
