Fannie Mae reportedly plans bond deal

Fannie Mae reportedly will sell $675 million of securities based on a pool of mortgages acquired by the firm in the third quarter of 2012. The deal is said to be similar to one executed by Freddie Mac in July, as both firms work to follow a Federal Housing Finance Agency mandate to reduce taxpayers' exposure to defaults.
