Ga. schools are serving more food produced in state

The Georgia Department of Agriculture has launched the "Feed My School for a Week" program, in which school cafeterias are stocked with food produced in the state, including vegetables, beef and olive oil. School nutrition professionals said some of the local items were slightly more expensive, and there were some, such as ranch dressing, that they were unable to replace with locally produced options.
