Germany could lose competitive advantage, Weidmann says

Germany is in danger of reduced competitiveness unless it reforms the labor market, maintains a balanced budget and cuts debt, Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann says. "Economic advantages can be lost again quickly," he said. "These are the lessons from today's euro-crisis countries like Ireland and Spain, which were once considered economic models in the eurozone."
