House Democrats: Don't attach Obamacare to debt vote

House Democrats are striking back at an idea under consideration by some GOP members: To attach a delay of the Affordable Care Act to the upcoming vote on raising the U.S. debt ceiling. "I would be willing to say: don't mess with the debt limit," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. Just as Democrats and Republicans joined together to approve the bailout of large banks in 2008, she said, the debt ceiling bill deserves bipartisan support without strings attached.
