Nike chairman offers $500M challenge grant to Ore. HSU

Philip and Penny Knight pledged $500 million to Oregon Health & Science University's cancer research initiative, contingent upon the university's raising an additional $500 million within two years. OHSU's existing cancer center was renamed the Knight Cancer Institute in 2008 after the Knights contributed $100 million.
