Publicis-Omnicom tie-up takes hits from rival CEOs

The CEOs of Havas and JWT didn't pull their punches when the Publicis-Omnicom merger came up during an Advertising Week panel. "The complexity is enormous" and few clients are likely to enjoy being "a smaller fish in a bigger pond," said Havas Global CEO David Jones. The "two different personalities" at the top of the merged company is also "a recipe for a problem," said JWT CEO Bob Jeffrey.
