Survey: Wealthy and millennials most likely to grocery shop online

Wealthy shoppers and millennials account for one-fifth of grocery customers and are identified as most likely to adopt online grocery shopping, according to a survey by retail consultancy Brick Meets Click, which polled 22,000 consumers. Recruiting the remaining 80% of shoppers to purchase online cannot be attained until the cost of online products is no longer 10% higher than the traditional total, Principal Bill Bishop says.
