Carbon markets need global oversight, trade group says

The United Nations should appoint a global regulator to help forge ties between the world's fragmented carbon markets, according to the Climate Markets & Investment Association. "If you could put in place some rules and standards that would allow markets to interact more efficiently, that would be good," says CMIA chief Anthony Hobley.
