Students in Canada are taught to consider their audience when using technology

Today's students use technology daily, including sending and receiving text messages. Now, some teachers in Ontario, Canada, are integrating lessons on reading text messages critically. One teacher said the goal of the lessons is to encourage students to think about their audience and not use short form or slang in academic assignments, job applications or other more professional arenas.
