Even English teachers work to boost math achievement at a Virginia middle school that enlists teachers from all disciplines to help raise test scores. With a focus on math comprehension and vocabulary, educators say, students were able to better understand math exams and score higher. Educators have incorporated math into all subjects, and they give students a math vocabulary word to learn each day.
