Breast-feeding for 6 months lowers infection risk, study says

Greek researchers showed infants who were exclusively breast-fed for the first six months of life had a lower risk for a host of common infections. Longer exclusive breast-feeding also was linked to fewer provider visits and infection-related hospital admissions.
