Former special educator focuses on hiring people with disabilities

A former special-education teacher has opened two locations of Carolina Country Store in Wilmington, N.C., and is employing individuals with disabilities. The store sells specialty items, including flavored pecans made by individuals with developmental disabilities at a nearby residential facility. "My goal was to one day have a business that could be run and operated by people with disabilities," Tim Corbett said.
