Mediterranean concepts expand as doctors laud the diet

A growing number of fast-casual chains are serving fare that fits in with the Mediterranean diet that doctors have long recommended as heart-healthy. Eateries including Zoe's Kitchen, Daphne's Greek Cafe, Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill and Kalamata Greek Cafe have created menus that feature the diet's staples such as olive oil, whole grains and vegetables.
