Longer tweets tend to get more attention and generate more click-throughs, according to an analysis by Dan Zarrella. That suggests that going long is the best way to build buzz -- but you need to leave a few spare characters to allow for retweeting. "The takeaway here is pretty straightforward. If you want more clicks on the content you post to Twitter, use longer tweets, but don't surpass 130 characters," Zarrella writes.
