Studies show benefits of cardiac rehab

A Cleveland Clinic study published in Circulation found that cardiac rehabilitation helps patients achieve normal heart rate recovery and that those who do live longer than those with abnormal recovery times. A second rehab study from the University of Western Ontario, published in the journal Stroke, said cardiac rehabilitation was helpful for patients who have had a transient ischemic attack or a mild stroke.
